- What is an RSS feed?
Our site has several blogs. These allow us to provide date sensitive information on a timely basis. An RSS feed allows you to receive new entries automatically. Many email readers such as Outlook can receive RSS feeds directly.

- How do I sign up for the St. John's RSS Feeds?
Go to the page of the blog first. For instance, if you want to receive the Announcements RSS Feed go to Announcements under News. On the bottom right you'll see a click point to sigh up for RSS feed. It actually says "Subscribe to this blog's feed". Instructions will then be presented.
Please note! Most browsers will work fine but Chrome (Google's new browser) does not support scripting so this link will not work in Chrome.

- How do I stop receiving an RSS feed?
This is tougher to answer as it depends on how you are reading the feed. If you are reading the feed in Outlook select the item - Announcements for instance. Right click and chose delete from the pop up menu.

- How do I change my personal information?
You can modify much of the information for your account by logging into the membership area. Choose "Members" from the menu. Login using your email address and assigned password. If you do not remember your password, use the password recovery link. Once logged in you can edit your account information (password, name, address, etc.) and select the check boxes for the mailing lists you wish to be on.

This is a problem! but easily fixed. On the login screen (choose "Members" from the main menu) you'll see a click point to recover a forgotten password. Use the link and you'll be sent an email to recover your password. Once logged on you can change the password - see "How do I change my personal information?"

- What do I need to know about the Prayer Board?
Probably the most important thing to know about this message board is that is visible to ALL who visit the site. You may add items to any of the sections but we ask that you think about where your item should be posted - Praise, Thanksgiving or Prayer Request. Keep it clean! we will remove offensive items but may not notice immediately.

- How do I view the Ministry Schedule?
The Ministry Schedule is a secured file on the site therefore you must login first before attempting to access the file.
Choose "Members" from the main menu and login. Once you are logged in return to the "Welcome" page and click on the "Ministry Schedule" link.

- How do I change the Ministry Schedule?
The Ministry Schedule is a secure file on the web site. Adding/modifying this type of file requires administrative privileges. Login as the main administrator and go to File Manager. Select the tab for Secure Files. Upload the file to replace the file called CurrentSchedule.pdf. As long as you replace this particular file - using rename if needed - you will not have to modify the link.
